Non-Surgical Procedures
Facials are becoming more advanced with the introduction of new technology. Jet pressure-based infusion treatments are an efficient and accessible option, delivering results without heat, needles, or lasers. By using high-velocity streams of oxygen and liquid micro-droplets, these treatments cleanse, exfoliate, and infuse the skin—addressing concerns like congestion, dehydration, dullness, and early signs of aging.
JetPeel, now available at The Plastic Surgery Clinic and MD Beauty Clinic, uses pressurized air to create a directed flow of skincare ingredients. It gently resurfaces the skin while driving customized serums deep into the layers of the epidermis. This is the first treatment of its kind to non-invasively improve texture and hydration without breaking the skin barrier.
More than just your average facial, JetPeel is a powerful device that enables essential ingredients to penetrate the pores using jet technology. JetPeel converts skincare solutions to microdroplets that travel at a speed of 200 m/s. This allows for the infusion of actives into the epidermis, leaving skin instantly refreshed.
JetPeel is an adaptable option for patients who want to treat an array of concerns on the face and neck. This versatility is reflected in the variety of specialized handpieces and attachments available on the JetPeel machine. When treating smaller surface areas for wrinkles and fine lines, the SingleJet handpiece is used. When addressing wider surface areas for acne, hyperpigmentation, and skin texture, the TripleJet is best.
JetPeel benefits patients who want a specialized and customizable facial. Since it’s a non-invasive treatment, this is also a good option for clients who want minimal downtime and more frequent follow-up. It clears skin congestion, buffs out blemishes, and hydrates and brightens dry and dull skin. JetPeel cleanses, massages, and exfoliates the skin while infusing it with key ingredients for a more vibrant and even complexion.
A JetPeel facial is booked for 45-60 minutes and begins with a brief consultation. The procedure itself can be broken down into 4 steps. Your aesthetician will begin by draining the lymph nodes through lymphatic massage. They’ll hold the device at a 45-degree angle to exfoliate the skin, then at a 90-degree angle to infuse your choice of active. Finally, your skin is then sealed off with some topical skincare to amplify results. At the end of your appointment, your aesthetician will offer post-care instructions to help you maintain your results.
Depending on the depth of the skin concern, improvement can be seen immediately after a JetPeel facial. Skin appears clearer and more radiant. Although JetPeel facial results are instant, 3-6 sessions are recommended for optimal change. These can be spaced out weekly, biweekly, or monthly.
JetPeel accommodates patients who have sensitive skin and don’t want to try chemical peels or microneedling facials. Instead of injections or micro-injuries, it penetrates the skin’s surface through fine channels for a non-invasive, yet effective, infusion of active ingredients.
Since JetPeel works by infusing different skincare solutions, it can treat many concerns, including:
JetPeel is not intended for use on active skin infections (bacterial, fungal, or viral), open wounds, or patients who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. It is ideal for stacking treatments, however, and can be followed up with neurotoxin or filler. JetPeel is not intended for individuals with specific medical conditions. Your provider will review your medical history to determine if this treatment is right for you.
We advise that you come in makeup-free and avoid using retinol 2-4 days prior to your appointment. We also suggest limiting direct sun exposure just before your treatment. Other than that, no special preparations are required for the JetPeel Facial.
A key benefit of JetPeel is that it delivers immediate results with no recovery involved. To maintain treatment outcome, patients are encouraged to avoid direct UV exposure (either through sunlight or tanning beds) for 3 days following treatment. Patients are also cautioned against using retinoids or exfoliants up to 1 week after treatment.
